What is the Speed Venture Summit?: The Speed Venture Summit™ is the premier speed-dating-style event for fast-growth businesses and investors in New England, brought to you by the New Hampshire High Technology Council and the New Hampshire Small Business Development Center.

What's involved for the Business Executive and Entrepreneur?: This is an opportunity for you to showcase your business plans to various investors, all in one afternoon. The format gives you several minutes to pitch your company. After your pitch, you receive their feedback, and then have a chance to refine your pitch before presenting to the next investor group.

The Speed Venture Summit is an opportunity for companies to privately pitch their growth stories in person to suitable investors.
• When is the next Speed Venture Summit?
The next Speed Venture Summit is planned for late October 2010: Speed Pitching: 2-5:15 pm, Business Networking Reception: 5:15-7:30 pm.
• Where is the next Speed Venture Summit?
The 2010 Speed Venture Summit has not yet been scheduled.

Why attend?: This is a unique opportunity to meet several investors in one place face-to-face and for the investors to meet you. You will have a chance to showcase your charisma, trustworthiness and experience, along with the soundness of your plan. Speed venturing gives you the chance to present yourself as well as your ideas.

Learning: If you don’t know this already, you will learn that you need to be able to pitch your business to someone and get them excited in 5 minutes. If you are unable to do that, then you will have to modify your approach at the Summit to make your presentation more efficient and effective. The key is engaging the audience of investors while keeping things simple and to the point. Think of your pitch as a movie trailer: learn how to make it connect with your audience.
